Ron Paul Rally
After a pretty tough week in the office, it was good to get out and shoot. I did get to shoot a little on Wednesday, but my best frames didn't make past the editors in media affairs. I guess 2 photos on Whitehouse.gov is better than none though.
These frames are from the Ron Paul Revolution march on the Capitol in Washington, DC. It was pretty good times, but a little discouraging not to see any major media covering the event. I guess it was good practice though. There wasn't as much action as your typical anti-war march, but plenty of bush-haters in the crowd nonetheless.
This was close to being my favorite frame of the day. I wish I had framed the rotunda between their shoulders, but wasn't able to scoot left at the time.
The stage setup was pretty sketchy to say the least, so I tried to work with the ugly metal scaffolding that marred all my pictures taken amongst the sweaty Ron Paul supporters.
On the way home I saw this lady wearing a mask. Gotta love the Metro.
