The Wesleys
Mae and her son Carroll live alongside the railroad tracks outside Eubank, Ky. and sell firewood for a living. They live in part of an abandoned general store and use two woodstoves to cook their meals and heat their home during the winter months.
Mae shares a laugh with the pastor of the small Baptist church across the lane from them.
Mae's collection of dolls.
Carroll works to get one of his chainsaws started as a freight train passes by the house.
Mae ponders the day while smoking a cigarette with her miniature poodle.
