Inauguration 2009
My inaugural adventures started out on Saturday, January 17, 2009. I woke up at 6 and drove the 5 hours from Lynchburg, Va. to Edgewood, Md. to catch the inaugural train. President Obama and Vice President Biden took a "whistle stop" train tour from Philadelphia, Penn. to Washington, DC. (reminiscent of Abraham Lincoln's same inaugural train trip in 1861) The atmosphere was electric as thousands of people braved the cold at the Edgewood MARC station to try and get a glimpse at the inaugural train.
Here are some photos from Inauguration Day, 2009. Thanks for looking!
Coffee we can believe in:
Of course it wouldn't have been an inauguration if a few trouble makers hadn't shown up.

As always, Luke. Awesome pictures. I love to see the view through your camera lens. You have such a unique way of "seeing". I really love it.
I saw the shoe throwing thing at the Inauguration!
I wish I could have seen the Luke Sharrett thing at the Inauguration.
Those are beautiful and inspiring photos Luke. As always.
