New York Times: Month 2
This marks the end of my second month interning in the New York Times' Washington, DC bureau. I'm beginning to get comfortable with my surroundings and feel like I'm finally "warming up," whatever that means. My goal for the coming month is to look for the political subtleties in the situations I'm photographing. I hope you like the pictures!

I took a roadtrip a couple weeks ago with my cousin in search of some good surfing waves. There was a swell, so we found the waves, and visited some other cool places. Here are some images from the Rodanthe pier on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
