New York Times: Month 1
This post marks the end of my first month interning in the New York Times' Washington, DC bureau. These past four weeks have been an incredible adventure. I've never been so excited to make pictures, and I've never been more honored to shoot for an outlet as I am for The New York Times. Without the support and encouragement from my editors in nyc, and DC staffers Doug Mills and Stephen Crowley, I wouldn't have made it through my first few days. Its been really humbling to have two such excellent photojournalists take me under their wings and treat me like a staffer right off the bat. Thanks also to all the folks in the DC press corp for sharing their wealth of knowledge and welcoming "the new kid" into their circle. Here are some of my favorite images from month 1:
